OCAF in Feb 2025

Greetings from our small farm in central Illinois with Huacaya alpacas, Great Pyrenees and one cat. Our full circle return to farm life after retiring from careers at an insurance giant and decades of city living is a pleasing and fulfilling change. Having alpacas on our farm since 2015 has been a journey of learning and dedication.

Our focus is on improving each new generation of alpacas and making the elegant fiber into beautiful yarn and hand-crafted products.

It is a daily pleasure to be involved in all aspects of breeding, birthing, raising and showing these exquisite animals. Besides the great mentoring received from our partners, we also appreciate and benefit from the advancements many of the long-tenured alpaca breeders have achieved and shared.
